英語タイトルのexecuteは「死刑にする」で、FORMER AUM CULT LEADER, MEMBERS EXECUTEDはFORMER AUM CULT LEADER and MEMBERS EXECUTED「オウム真理教元代表と信者らに死刑執行」という意味です。
オウム真理教の一連の事件で死刑が確定した１３人のうち、元代表の麻原彰晃、本名・松本智津夫死刑囚ら教団の元幹部７人に死刑が執行されました。
史上最悪とも言われる未曽有のテロを引き起こしたオウム真理教の事件を、英語で振り返ってみましょう。

Shoko Asahara, whose real name was Chizuo Matsumoto, led the Aum Shinrikyo cult. He was 63 and had been on death row for more than a decade.
Matsumoto was behind the sarin gas attack on Tokyo's subway system that killed 13 people and sickened more than 6,000. Twelve other members of the cult were also sentenced to death for their involvement in that attack and others in Japan.
Japan's Public Security Intelligence Agency is keeping a close eye on members of Aum's successor group Aleph. More than 1,600 people still follow it or groups that have splintered from it, and authorities are concerned about how they'll react to the executions.

doomsday cultは「終末論を説くカルト教団」です。なお、大文字でDoomsdayとすると「（キリスト教の）最後の審判の日」のことです。
ここでのfollowerは「（宗教などの）信奉者」です。
executeは「死刑を執行する、処刑する」です。

解 説
markという動詞はいろいろな意味で使いますが、ここでは「示す、記す、告げる」です。
terrorizeは「テロ手段を取る、（テロによって）恐怖に陥れる」という意味です。
the country「その国」は日本を指しています。
slewは「たくさん、多数、大量」という意味で、a slew of crimesは「多くの犯罪」です。
deadlyは「致死の、死をもたらすほどの」という意味で、deadly subway attack「死をもたらした地下鉄攻撃」はいわゆる「地下鉄サリン事件」のことです。
commuterは「通勤者、通勤客」です。

the sarin gas attack on Tokyo's subway system「東京の地下鉄網へのサリンガス攻撃」とは、１９９５年３月２０日に現在の東京メトロの丸の内線、日比谷線、千代田線の合計５車両の地下鉄車内で、化学兵器として使用される毒ガスのサリンが散布された事件のことです。
sickenは「病気にさせる、気分を悪くさせる」です。
