ｉＰＳで世界初の心臓病治療

英語タイトルのsurgeryは「手術」で、FIRST HEART SURGERY PERFORMED USING iPS CELLSは「ｉＰＳ細胞を使って行われた初の心臓手術」です。
体のさまざまな組織になるｉＰＳ細胞から作った心臓の筋肉の細胞をシート状にし、重い心臓病の患者の心臓に直接貼り付ける世界初の手術が実施されました。
